OSD Finance Solution Manager aka Solutions Delivery Manager

The OSD Finance Solution Delivery organization is looking for an experienced and energetic Solution Manager to join our team who will help us to execute our OSD Finance organization’s mission in support of the Division. OSD Finance’s mission is to empower people with knowledge through financial expertise, operational excellence and sounds advice. In this exciting role you will be accountable for end to end solution management and will have the opportunity to gain deep knowledge about the business model, processes, capabilities and systems. This role spans groups inside and outside of OSD Finance; therefore the candidate must be a leader/performer in strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making and cross-group collaboration while using cross-group collaboration to build consensus, influence plans as needed to enable successful delivery, and ensure execution of cross-group tasks. This role is a leadership role which will partner with senior management regarding our Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a strong relationship and regular communications with stakeholders (including senior management) in OSD Finance in relation to their business goals & priorities, and how process automation through IT solutions will help them reach their goals.
Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated implementation plan to deliver projects that meet those process automation needs.
Execute processes around authoring & maintaining business requirements, issue/risks lists, etc. related to the project.
Form the information obtained in the above steps into a solution proposal. Communicate and build consensus with other groups regarding this solution & options available to implement it.
Drive the prioritization process by which decisions are made around the final project scope.
Individually, or in conjunction with other groups, develop specific project plans to address implement the project.
Execute on these project plans and assist others in executing on project plans across the various groups.
Use industry-standard approaches to document requirements and other project particulars such as Joint Application Design and Use Cases. Use the Microsoft Solutions Framework as applied within OSD Finance.
Primary author & accountable for overall Business Requirements Document, UAT plan and other related project deliverables.
Job Qualifications:
· Strong interest and experience in developing and improving Finance business capabilities, processes and associated systems.
· Ability to perform at a team and broader organizational level focusing on the work assigned to multiple team members and associated issues, risks, and implications.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and management levels.
· 10+ years managing end-to-end, large scale or several medium scale projects.

· Utilize the Initiative Management Framework or MSFT Solutions Framework for a complete set of deliverables when managing projects.
