Yes, yes, I said it. You expected something different?! So it's now been out a week or so, but I wanted to give you a couple hand fulls of reasons why you should BING it!
1) The graphic on bing changes daily. Use your mouse to hover over pics and read about the photograph. The shots are really great.
2) Once you search on something, you'll see a bar on your left which offers suggestions for related searches, or a search within a search. (type in any car name andsee the recommended next links which have been determined based on volume of "next clicks")
3) Often when we search we see a "best match" selection which has been determined based on some algorythm (or is it logorhythm?). I have found it is pretty accurate.
4) Type in Amazon.com and check out the fact that bing gives you the customer service # (well buried on the actual site) in the results.
5) Type in UPS or FedEx and see that you can track a package or call customer service.
6) Same for Nordies (Nordstrom) and then check out the related searches on the left.
7) Travel info is great. Type in flights from Seattle to Chicago and not the buy/do not buy now feature.
8) Type in "restaraunts" and notice that it returns local choices for you. For comparison, try it as well in Google, not quite the same.
9) Cool feature, the search history which shows up on the left. Once you have search results, hover over the short descriptions and notice that you get a "bubble" which gives you a bit more detail. This is designed so that you can identify which link isn't going to meet your needs, and which will. Should save you a lot of time.
10) Last feature, for now and that I now...I'm sure there are more. Note that on the left bar you can see your search history. If you want, you can save your search history which would be especially helpful if you are researching something and don't have the time to complete your search.
